The Art of Seeing
The purpose of this assignment is to explore your photographic possibilities by standing in one spot.

Reflection
I found this assignment very interesting. When the assignment was introduced, I thought the thing that would be most difficult about it would be standing in one spot, but it wasn't. I enjoyed having to have different perspectives and ideas to make that spot work. It was difficult for me not to zoom in and out and stay in the focal length required. I am so used to doing so, but it was a good challenge. I found setting the camera to do what I wanted it to in only one shot very difficult, and in these photos, that is displayed. The one of my car in the driveway was certainly not how I thought it would turn out, but that is how you learn and grow. I wish I had played more with the settings, but it's hard to do when you can't delete the outcome. I definitely need more practice and need to figure out how to use specific settings for better results. To my surprise, some of them really turned out. I tried something risky with the sun through the trees and was pleasantly surprised by how it was captured.
Completing this assignment helped me learn how to look at things differently and how one spot can be so much more if I thought about it for longer. I will take this into future photoshoots and take the extra time to look at things from different perspectives and see what I can get out of it.
